We have been here on Gidda Mustafa Street in Pudupet for a while now. Attur is a busy place, and Salem district is known for its stone work, so we fit right in. Most days start early because once the sun gets high, the yard gets pretty hot. We handle a lot of granite blocks and slabs here at number 18. It is mostly about getting the orders right and making sure the trucks are loaded without any issues. People come by the office asking about different types of stone, and we just show them what we have in stock at the moment. It’s not a fancy setup, just a regular place where we get the work done. Abdul Shukkur handles a lot of the day-to-day things. The street outside can get a bit crowded with traffic, but that is just how it is in this part of town. Sometimes the dust from the cutting gets everywhere, but you get used to it after a week or two. We don't spend much time on big speeches or anything like that. We just focus on the granite and making sure the pieces are cut the way they should be. It is steady work, and we like being part of the local community here in Attur.
