M/S Lakshmi Ring Travellers

You can find us over at 205 Natraj Illam, which is in Thirunavukarasu Nagar in Attur. We are deep in the Salem district, which is a place known for its industries. Our focus is on ring travellers, which are those tiny but important parts used in the textile mills. It isn't a massive factory setup here at the office; it is more of a place where we handle the orders and keep some stock for the local spinners. The building is a regular house converted for our use, and it feels very local and homey. We usually have the windows open to let some air in because the Salem heat can be quite a lot during the afternoons. There are always boxes stacked up near the door ready to be sent out to the mills around Tamil Nadu. We don't spend money on big advertisements because the people in the textile trade already know who we are and where to get their supplies. My desk is often a mess of small metal samples and ledger books. We take our time with each order to make sure the sizes are exactly what the customer needs for their machines. It is steady work and we have a routine that has not changed much in years. Just us, the parts, and the daily tally of what needs to be delivered to the factories nearby.
