Manicakam Hospitals

Our hospital is located out in Karamettar Kadu, right in the Onankaradu area of Thottiyapatti. It’s near the C.S. Puram post office in the Rasipuram taluk. Being out here means we see a lot of people from the nearby villages and the local farms. It’s a bit of a trek for some, but it’s where we are needed most. The hospital is surrounded by a lot of greenery and open space, which is different from the city clinics. We have the Manicakam name on the front, but most folks just know us as the local spot for help. The building is functional and spread out. We deal with all sorts of things, from small scrapes to bigger health issues that people bring in. The post office nearby is a good landmark for people who aren't from this specific bit of the countryside. We spend our days walking between the different wards and checking on whoever is staying with us. It’s a quiet life mostly, except when it’s market day and the roads get a bit busier. We don't have a fancy lobby or a coffee shop inside. We just have the wards, the medicine smell, and the staff trying to keep everything organized. It’s a lot of work keeping a hospital running in this part of Rasipuram, but we just take it one patient at a time and do what we can. The trees outside give some good shade.
