Maintenance Engineer

This is the place for the maintenance engineering work here in Salem. We are located at 25/30G Queens Circle, over in Mahendrapuri. It's right near Kannan Kurichi if you know the area. The shop isn't much to look at but it gets the job done. I’ve been working as an engineer for quite some time now, mostly dealing with mechanical stuff and keeping things running in the local shops and small plants. It gets pretty dusty around here, so things need cleaning and fixing more than you’d think. Salem has its own pace. We start early before it gets too hot. A typical day involves a lot of grease and checking gauges. I don't really do the big corporate talk. If a machine is rattling, I find out why and stop it. Sometimes it's a simple belt change, other times I'm stuck there for hours looking for a specific bolt. The address at Queens Circle is where I keep all the spare parts and the workbench. It’s a bit cluttered right now, to be honest. My neighbors know me as the guy who’s always got a wrench in his hand. People drop by with things they can't get to work. It’s just me and maybe a helper if the job is big. We don't have a website or anything like that. Just this spot in Mahendrapuri. It's honest work and it keeps the lights on. I’ve lived in Tamilnadu all my life and I like the people here. We just try to help out where we can and make sure the machinery doesn't let anyone down. It’s a simple living.
