Sks Textile

Sks Textile is based at No. 5/305/1 in the Syndicate Bank Colony. It’s right on 1St Street in Kurunji Nagar. We have been working with fabrics and materials in this neighborhood for some time. It is not a huge factory, just a decent-sized workspace where we keep our machines and stock. The street can get a bit crowded with parked bikes, but it is a friendly enough area. We spend most of our time looking at threads and making sure the fabric is okay for the local shops. I took over the place from a family friend, and we have kept it running the same way. There is not any fancy corporate structure here. It is just me and a few workers who know their way around a loom. We do not put up big posters or do much shouting about what we do. People in Kurunji Nagar know where we are if they need something. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, but that is just how it goes. The floors are usually covered in bits of lint and thread, but that is a sign of work being done. When the monsoon comes, the street gets a bit muddy, but we keep the goods high and dry inside. My hands are usually stained with a bit of dust by the end of the shift. We do not have a website; you mostly just have to come see us or call.
