Kr Social Welfare Charitable Foundation

Our address is 310/1, Jayam Nagar, right on Medical College Road. Being near the medical college means the road is always busy with people and vehicles. We can hear the traffic and the horns all day long from our front room. The Kr Social Welfare Charitable Foundation is just a modest place, really. We have a couple of rooms where we keep our files and meet anyone who needs to talk to us. It’s not a very big office, so things can get a bit cluttered with all the stacks of paper and books we have lying around on the shelves. We don't have a professional cleaning crew or a fancy reception area. One of us usually just handles the door when someone knocks. It feels more like a community center than a formal charity. We like it that way because it makes people feel more at ease when they come in. Medical College Road is a good landmark, so people never have much trouble finding us. We’ve been here for a while and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. Through all of it, we’ve just kept doing our daily tasks. It’s a lot of small things that add up at the end of the month. We don't try to look important or act like we know everything. We are just local residents who decided to set up a foundation.
