We've been here on Omalur Main Road for a while now. If you're coming down Pallipatti Privu Road toward Koranampatti, you’ll find us easily enough near the post. It gets pretty dusty out here some days but we keep the shop open anyway. Most people around Konganapuram know the spot. We mostly deal with cotton fabrics because that’s what folks need around here. It’s practical and stays cool in the sun. We spend most of our mornings just sorting through rolls of cloth and making sure things are tidy for anyone who stops by. It’s not a big fancy operation, just a few of us making sure we have what people are looking for. Sometimes the deliveries are late or the weather makes things a bit slow, but that’s just how it goes in this part of town. We’ve seen a lot of changes on this road over the years but our building stays mostly the same. You might see us sitting out front when it's quiet. People stop in for a bit of thread or a few meters of cloth for their projects. We don't do much advertising because most folks just hear about us from their neighbors. It’s a simple way to run a business and it works for us. If you need something specific, you can just ask and we'll see if it’s in the back. Usually, it is, though sometimes we have to wait for the next truck to come in from the city.
