Kitchen Park

Kitchen Park is our little shop over on Ambalawanaswamy Kovil Street in Gugai. If you are looking for where we are, we are right opposite Sumakali Jewellers. Salem can get really hot in the afternoons, so we usually have the big ceiling fan going full blast inside to keep things moving. We mostly deal with kitchen setups and various things people need for their houses. It is a busy street with people coming and going all day long. Sometimes the parking out front is a bit of a mess with all the bikes, but that is just how it is in this part of Gugai. We have been in this specific building for some time now. The walls are painted a simple color and we try to keep things organized so people can actually see what we have on the shelves. It is not a huge showroom, but we make the most of the space we have. Usually, it is just a couple of us here talking to customers and moving heavy boxes around. We do not do big fancy advertisements or radio spots. Most people just see our sign while they are heading to the jeweler or just walking through the neighborhood. We like the area. It feels like home to us. We spend a lot of time just chatting with the neighbors and making sure the shop stays relatively tidy despite the dust that blows in from the road. It is a simple life running a business here. We just show up every morning, open the heavy shutters, and see who comes in.
