Salem is a place where people really appreciate local shops and we are right near the Bajaj showroom which is a big landmark for everyone around here. We have all sorts of homeopathic medicines lined up on the shelves in those little glass bottles. It is a quiet place most of the time unless the traffic on the main road gets really heavy. We spend the day mixing things and talking to folks who come in looking for something for a cough or a stomach ache. The shop isn't modern looking at all and we like it that way because it feels more personal. There is a lot of dust from the road so we are always wiping down the counters. We don't use big computers for everything here and mostly write things down in registers.
