Kavitha Travels

Our office for Kavitha Travels is located at No 17 on Vellalar Street, which is in the 3rd Ward of Kannankurichi. We are right opposite the Mariamman Koil, so it is a very easy place to find for anyone in Salem. The temple is a big part of the local life here, and we feel like we are right in the middle of everything. We spend our days mostly handling local calls. People from around Vellalar Street know us well and often just walk over to the office to book a car for a wedding or a trip to the hospital. We don’t have any fancy signs or corporate logos. It’s just a plain room with some chairs and a table where we keep the car keys and our logbooks. We try to keep things running smoothly, but with the narrow streets and the crowds near the temple, it can be a bit tricky sometimes. We check the tires and the oil ourselves most mornings before the sun gets too high. It’s a hands-on kind of job. We don’t use any complicated apps, just our phones and a good understanding of the local roads. Sometimes we sit outside on the bench when it’s not too hot and talk to the neighbors. It’s a quiet way to run a business, focusing on the people right here in Kannankurichi. We just take it one trip at a time and try to get things right. If someone needs a driver at 4 AM, we make sure someone is there.
