Kannan Hospital

This hospital is tucked away at 238-a1 Sri Rangan Nagar on Durgam Road. It’s officially a surgical, diagnostic, and therapeutic centre, which basically means we do a lot of different things in one building. The hallways are usually lined with people waiting for test results or heading into a consultation. It’s a bit of a walk from the main town center, but Durgam Road is a big enough thoroughfare that most people know the way. We’ve got various rooms for the different machines we use for diagnostics. Sometimes the equipment hums quite loudly, and you can hear it throughout the wing. The staff stays busy moving between the different sections. We have a small canteen area nearby where people grab snacks while they wait. The building has been here for a while and has a few quirks, like the door that sticks in the rainy season or the light in the hallway that flickers if you don't flip the switch just right. It’s a practical place. We focus on getting the diagnostics done and making sure the surgical area is ready when it’s needed. The paperwork is always piled up on the desks in the administrative office. We aren’t a huge facility, but we have enough space to handle the daily flow of patients coming in from Sri Rangan Nagar and the other neighborhoods along the road.
