Kairos Welfare Foundation

Our place is located on Tanmag Road in Vinayagampatty. It’s a bit of a specific spot to find if you aren't from around Salem. We have been working out of this building for a bit now. It’s a simple setup at S No. 17/2. Nothing too flashy, just what we need to run things. Salem can be quite warm, so we keep the fans going most of the day. The street outside stays fairly busy with people passing through. We usually have a lot of paperwork to get through. It’s not the most exciting part of the job, but it’s necessary. We are just a local group trying to handle our daily responsibilities. Sometimes we lose track of time when we're deep into a project. It’s a small office, so we all know what everyone else is doing. We don't have those big boardrooms or anything. Usually, we just talk over coffee about what needs to happen next. It works for us. People in the neighborhood are friendly enough. We see the same faces every morning. We just focus on the welfare work we have planned. It’s a lot of coordination and making sure details don't slip through the cracks. We don't make a big fuss about things. We just do the work and move on to the next thing. Every day is a little different, but we mostly just keep to our routine and get through the list.
