Janatha Precured Retreaders

Our shop is located at 103, Kalarampatty Rd. It’s a busy street and there is always something going on outside. Janatha Precured Retreaders is basically a place where we take old tires and give them a new life. It’s messy work. There is rubber dust everywhere and the smell of heat and glue is something you just get used to after a week or two. We’ve got the old equipment set up in the back and that’s where most of the time is spent. It’s not a clean job, and our hands are usually black by the end of the shift. We don't have a big front office or a reception area. If someone wants to talk to us, they usually just walk into the workspace. The road outside is often blocked with trucks waiting for their turn. We’ve been at this for years, so we have a rhythm now. Some days are faster than others depending on how many casings we have to process. We don't use any fancy systems, just the knowledge we’ve picked up over time. It’s practical work for people who need their vehicles to keep moving without spending too much. The neighborhood is mostly industrial, so nobody minds the noise we make. We just show up, do the retreading, and head home when the sun goes down. It’s just how we get by and keep things going.
