Janani Travels

We are Janani Travels and our office is inside the VGP Complex on Kitchipalayam Main Road. If you are familiar with Salem, you know this road gets quite busy throughout the day. We’ve been working out of this complex for a while now. It’s a simple office where we spend our hours looking at the calendar and taking notes on who needs a car and when. Most of the time, we are just sitting here with the fan on, waiting for the next person to walk in or call. It’s a lot of routine work, checking the fuel and making sure the drivers are awake and ready for their shifts. We don't have a big corporate philosophy or anything like that. We just know that people in Kitchipalayam need to get places, whether it’s for work or a family trip out of the city. The VGP Complex is a good spot because people know where it is. We often have people stopping by just to ask about prices or to see if a driver is free for the next morning. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons, but that’s just how it is here. We keep our paperwork in simple files and try to stay organized as much as we can. It’s just us running a local travel desk, dealing with the daily ups and downs of the traffic and the weather. We aren't doing anything special, just helping out with rides when they come in. It’s how we've always done it.
