Iniya Travels

Iniya Travels is based over here in Ammapettai. Our door number is 39/111, Salem Post. It's a simple setup we have. We do a lot of local trips around Salem and sometimes further out if people ask for it. We started this because we liked driving and knew the area well. There are plenty of people here who need a vehicle for a day or two. We don't have a big office with air conditioning or anything like that. It’s just a place to sit and talk about where you need to go. Sometimes we are out on a trip and the phone rings, so we have to manage that. It’s a lot of work keeping the vehicles running right. We do the maintenance ourselves mostly. Ammapettai is a good spot for us. People know us by name here. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in Salem. Just want to give people a decent ride when they need one. The roads get dusty, so we spend a lot of time washing the cars in the mornings. My cousin helps out when it gets busy. We see a lot of families going to temples or visiting relatives in other towns. It’s regular work. Nothing too exciting. We just make sure the tank is full and the tires are good before any trip starts. If you live nearby, you’ve probably seen our cars parked near the post office area. We keep things basic and honest.
