Shankar Paint & Hardwares

Shankar Paint & Hardwares is right at 48/598 in the SK Complex on Trichy Main Road. Since we are on the main road, it is always noisy with buses and cars going by. Our shop is packed with cans of paint, brushes, and all sorts of hardware items. It is a bit of a tight squeeze inside because we have so much stock on the shelves. We have been in the SK Complex for a good while now. Most of our day is spent helping people find the right tools or mixing up specific paint colors. It is a lot of standing and moving around, which can be tiring by the end of the day. The floor usually has some dust on it from the cement bags or some paint spills here and there, but we give it a sweep when we can. We don’t have any flashy signs or professional displays. It is just a local hardware store where people come when they need to fix something at home. Trichy Main Road is a busy spot, so we see a lot of different faces every day. We don’t try to be anything we are not. We just open up in the morning, sell what people need, and close up in the evening. It is a simple way to run a business and it works for us here in the complex.
