Greenfield Shelters is over on Prerumal Koil Street in Swarnapuri. Our office is at C-10. It’s a quiet enough street compared to the main roads. We work on housing and shelters, so we spend a lot of time looking at drawings and talking to contractors. The office is a bit cramped with all the files and folders we keep. We have a couple of desks and a small table for meetings. It’s not a high-rise corporate office with a view. It’s just a ground-floor space where we manage our projects. People from the neighborhood often drop by to ask about plots or upcoming work. We know most of them by name. Swarnapuri has changed a lot since we started, but we’re still here in the same spot. We don't spend much on advertising. Most people hear about us through word of mouth. It’s a simple way of doing things, but it works for us. Sometimes we’re out on-site most of the day, so the office might be locked for an hour or two. We try to be practical about how we spend our time. There are no big promises or flashy brochures here. Just some people trying to build things the right way. If you find the temple on the street, you’re pretty close to our door. We have been part of this community for a long time and like it that way.
