Government Hospital

The Government Hospital is located at No. 102 Bazar Street in Attur. This place is run under the Chief Medical Officer for the Government of Attur. Being right on Bazar Street means we are in the middle of all the local action. The street is always crowded with shoppers and vendors, so the hospital stays very busy too. It is an old building that has been part of the Attur landscape for a long time. People know us as the main place to go when they need a doctor but don't want to go to a private clinic. We handle a lot of different cases every day. The noise from the bazaar filters in through the windows, but we are used to it by now. We have doctors and staff who manage the different wards. Everything is done according to the government books. There are long benches for people to wait on, and the walls are covered with government health notices. It is a very practical environment. We don't have any fancy mission statements or anything like that. We just open the doors and start seeing the patients who have been waiting outside since dawn. The location on Bazar Street makes us very accessible for everyone in town. We keep our files organized and try to make sure everyone gets seen. It is a tough job with so many people, but it is the daily reality of working at the Attur government hospital.
