G E Hospital

G E Hospital is right at No-3 Muthamizh Station in the Fair Lands area. Fair Lands is a decent part of town, and having the station so close makes it easy for people to find us. I usually walk past the station entrance every morning on my way in. The hospital building has been here for a while. It has a very standard look, with plain walls and big windows that let in the sun. I work mostly near the front where the records are kept. The floors are made of that grey stone that stays cool even when the weather is boiling. We have a few benches for people to wait on, and they are usually full by ten in the morning. You can hear the sounds of the town outside, but once you get into the inner rooms, it gets much quieter. I spend most of my day looking at charts or talking to the nurses. We don't have any of those fancy coffee machines; we just have a water cooler in the corner. Sometimes the wind blows through the hallways and shakes the doors a bit. It is a practical place. We don't spend money on decorations because the focus is just on the patients. People from all over Fair Lands come here because it is a familiar spot. My shoes always squeak a little on the floor when I am in a hurry.
