Essar Constructions

We’re located in Kanagagiri Colony, which is part of Kakapalayam near Salem. It’s a bit out of the way, but that’s fine for what we do. The area is 637504 for anyone sending us mail. Our office is a small building surrounded by other houses and some local shops. It’s a pretty laid-back spot. We don't have a big corporate lobby or anything like that. You just walk in and you’ll see us at our desks. There’s usually a lot of paperwork piled up because there’s always something to keep track of with the construction work. We’ve got a few ceiling fans that keep the air moving, which is necessary in the Salem heat. Most days we are out on sites, but this is where we come back to do the planning and the books. We’ve been in this colony for quite some time now. People around here know we’re the construction folks. Sometimes someone will stop by just to ask a question about a local project. We have some old wooden chairs for visitors and a big map of the region on the wall. It’s a simple setup, nothing fancy. We start early, usually around the time the sun comes up, and we stay until the work is finished. It’s a quiet life here in Tamil Nadu, and we like being part of the local community in Kakapalayam. We just keep doing what we do every day.
