Dharan Hospital is over here in Selva Nagar. If you know the area, you know it’s a busy spot. We’ve been part of Selva Nagar for a while, and most of the people living nearby know exactly where the building is. It’s not the biggest hospital in the world, but it’s ours. The staff lives mostly nearby, so there’s a real local feel to the place. You walk in and you might see your neighbor sitting in the waiting room. We don’t have any of those fancy corporate lobby things; it’s just a clean space with chairs and a desk where you sign in. The doctors have their rooms, and the nurses are always walking back and forth between the beds. Selva Nagar has its own rhythm, and the hospital fits right into it. Sometimes it gets a bit loud outside with the street noise, but inside we try to keep things calm. People come to us for all sorts of reasons, from a small fever to more serious stuff. We just do the work that needs doing. There’s no big mystery to it. We open the doors, we see the patients, and we try to help them get back on their feet. It’s a practical, straightforward place. Most of the families around here have come through our doors at some point over the years. We’re just a fixture of the neighborhood now, sitting right there in Selva Nagar on our street.
