Started the shop right across from New Mariyaman Kovil here in Mallur. It’s a busy spot especially during festivals. Most days it is just us working on diesel pumps and TVS parts while people go about their business. The shop isn't fancy. We have some benches for people to sit while they wait. Sometimes the rain gets under the roof, but we manage. People know us around here because we have been in this spot for years. My brother and I usually handle the technical stuff. It gets hot in the afternoons, so we take a long tea break around four. Usually, we are busy with local farmers bringing in their vehicles. The parts come in from the main distributors and we spend a lot of time sorting through boxes. It is hard work and our hands are always covered in grease. We don't have a big sign, just the address and the name Delphi Tvs on the door. You can't miss it if you are looking for the temple. Life moves a bit slow in Mallur, but the work is steady. We just try to get the jobs done so people can get back on the road. It's not a corporate office or anything like that. Just a workshop where things get fixed. Most of our tools are old but they work fine. We know most customers by name. Sometimes they stay to chat even after the work is finished. That's just how it is here.
