Our place is located in The Salem Industrial Co-Operative Estate, specifically units 2, 3, 12, and 13. It’s quite a bit of space, but we manage to fill it up quickly with whatever we are working on at the moment. Being in Udayapat means we are around other industrial businesses, so there is always something going on nearby. Birds India Corporation has been operating from here for some time. It's not a flashy environment. You’ll see a lot of tools and materials scattered around if you walk in on a Tuesday morning. We think it’s better that way because it shows we are actually doing the work. The team is made up of locals who know their way around the machinery. Sometimes the machines act up or the weather makes it hard to get things moving, but we just deal with it as it comes. We aren't really into big meetings or long speeches. Usually, we just look at the schedule for the day and get started. It can get dusty and noisy, which is pretty standard for this estate. We’ve had some people stay with us for years, while others come and go. Everyone knows their job and we don't need much management. If there's a problem, we fix it and move on to the next thing. It’s just how we run things here in Salem. Nothing more, nothing less. We don't try to be anything we aren't and just keep working.
