Balakrishna & Co.

Our place is on Trichy Road in Gugai. The address says 414 but the new number is 586, which sometimes confuses the delivery drivers who haven't been here before. It's an old part of town and the building has seen better days, but it serves Balakrishna & Co. just fine. We have been working out of this spot for a long time. Gugai is a busy area, especially with all the traffic on Trichy Road, so there is always noise from the buses and bikes outside. Inside, it's mostly just us handling the paperwork and the stock. We don't have any big displays because most people who come here already know what we do. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we're usually too busy to get around to it. We keep our tools and ledgers in the back and there's a small area where we have our lunch. It's a simple setup. Most days are about checking the inventory and making sure the accounts are right. We don't try to be anything we aren't. It’s just a local business trying to keep things moving along the main road. Sometimes the rain makes the entrance a bit muddy, but we just put down some bags and keep going. That’s just life here on Trichy Road. We don't have many employees, so it's usually just the same three or four faces you see every day. It works for us.
