Our place is right on M.G Road, just across from the back gate of Holy Angles School in New Fairlands. It’s a busy spot, and finding us is usually easy once you see the school gate. We’ve been operating Aswathrock Rock India for some time now. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and managing the inventory we keep at No. 264/3. We have a small crew that handles the daily tasks. We aren't really the type to have a big website or lots of ads, we just work with the folks who stop by. The yard gets crowded with stone slabs and pieces of rock, so we’re always shuffling things around to make space. It’s not always the cleanest job, but we get things done. Most of the time, we’re just dealing with local builders or people fixing up their houses nearby. We have our routines and we stick to them. It can be loud with the machinery running, but that's how it goes in this business. We know the neighborhood well and have seen a lot of changes in New Fairlands over the years. If you're walking past the school and see a bunch of rocks, that’s likely us. We just keep our heads down and do the work that’s in front of us every day. It’s a practical business and we like it that way. We don't need much more than our tools and some good stone.
