Abt Travels

Our office for Abt Travels is sitting right on the Sangakiri Main Road in Tharamangalam. We are very close to the bus stand, which makes it easy for people to walk over and ask about a booking. Being near the bus stand means there is always a lot of noise and people moving about, but that’s just how it is in this part of Salem. We have been here for quite some time now, just running our daily trips. It’s a small operation, really. We spend most of our time talking to customers who drop by after getting off a bus. The road outside can get pretty dusty when the wind picks up, so we are always wiping down the desks and the chairs. We handle all sorts of travel needs, whether it is a short trip nearby or something further out. We don't use much technology here, just the phone and our notebooks to keep track of who is going where. The drivers we work with are mostly from around Tharamangalam, so they know all the little lanes and shortcuts. It's practical work. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us who take care of the daily tasks. If you are waiting for a bus at the stand, you can see our place just a short walk away. We just keep doing what we do every day without much noise about it. It is just a local business trying to be helpful.
