A. Kadar Moideen

Our place is right there at No. 7/2 Rediar Sandhu in Kadambur, right across from the Ration Shop in Gangavalli T.K. It is a very local spot, and everyone knows the landmark of the shop across the street. A. Kadar Moideen is the name on the front, and we have been part of this community for a long time. It is a small operation, mostly just family and a couple of helpers from the village. We deal with local goods and whatever the people around here need. The street is narrow, so it is always lively with people walking by and stopping to chat. We do not have a website or any of those fancy things; people just walk in or call us on the mobile. Usually, the mornings are the busiest when the sun is not too hot yet. We sit on the wooden benches out front when there is a lull in the work. The walls are a bit faded, and the roof leaks a tiny bit when the monsoon hits hard, but we fix it as we go. It is not a corporate office with air conditioning. We use the old ceiling fans that creak a little. We know most of our customers by their first names and know their families too. It is just how business is done in a place like this. We keep records in big ledger books because that is what we are used to. It is a slow pace, but it is steady work.
