Doreswamy Agro

Out in Sakleshpur, we run Doreswamy Agro from our location at 2-7-15, B M Road. If you have ever been through this area, you know it is famous for the greenery and the hills. Our daily life is very connected to the land and the people who farm it. We have a modest setup on the side of the road where we keep our supplies and meet with folks from the nearby villages. The office is often a bit of a mess with samples of seeds and different tools lying around. We don't mind the clutter because it shows we are actually working. Rain is a big factor here, and during the monsoon, we spend a lot of time just watching the water come down and hoping it doesn't leak through the roof again. We aren't a big company with a lot of branches. It is just this one place on B M Road. We know our customers by name and we usually know what they need before they even ask. It is a slow way of doing business compared to the city, but it feels right for Sakleshpur. We don't have any fancy brochures or a mission statement. We just open up the shop, have some coffee, and talk to whoever stops by. It is a decent way to spend the day and we are happy to be part of the community here.
