Leitlang Organic Producer Company Limited

Our group is based over at House Number 175 in Pukpui. Leitlang Organic Producer Company Limited started because we wanted to see our local crops get the respect they actually deserve. Pukpui is a good place to live, and the soil around here is pretty forgiving if you treat it right. We aren't a big outfit with fancy trucks and uniforms. Most of the time, we are just using whatever transport we can find to get the harvest moved into town. We focus on organic growing because it is the way our grandparents did it, and it just makes sense to us. There is no need to overcomplicate things with expensive fertilizers that end up hurting the ground in the long run anyway. Our days are spent mostly outdoors, checking on the rows and making sure the water is getting where it needs to go. When we aren't out in the fields, we are usually hanging out at the house, trying to keep the books straight or talking about which seeds we should save for next year. It is a lot of manual labor and sometimes your back feels like it might just give up on you, but there is a good feeling in seeing something grow from nothing. We don't have a big corporate ladder to climb. Everyone just pitches in where they can. If someone is sick, another person picks up the slack. That is just how we do things in Pukpui.
