Photonics

Photonics is located at Gokul Nagar. The full address is a bit of a mouthful—H No 30 265/60/5/1/1, P No 278. Most people just call us when they get close so we can point them to the right door in Gokul Nagar. It’s a residential-feeling area but we have our workspace tucked in here. It’s not a big company. We have a few rooms filled with different components and testing equipment. It can get pretty cluttered because we keep every little piece of wire or scrap that might be useful later. The lighting is a bit dim in some corners, but we have bright lamps on the workbenches where the real precision stuff happens. We spend a lot of time hunched over tables looking at small parts. It’s quiet work for the most part. We don’t have many walk-in customers; it’s usually people we’ve known for years who need something specific. Sometimes the neighbors’ kids are playing outside and it gets a bit noisy, but we don't mind. We’ve got a small kettle in the back for making coffee. We aren't really into the whole corporate lifestyle. We wear what’s comfortable and work at our own pace as long as things get finished. This location is a nice place to be based. It’s out of the way of the main city chaos, which helps us stay focused on the technical details of what we do every day without having to deal with too much noise and distraction.
