Tipa Vegetables Navkrishak Farmers Producer Company Limited is located down in Tuipang, near the dairy. We work out of B Pheihra’s place in Saiha district. This area is known for being a bit far out, but we grow some good vegetables here. We got together as a group because it was getting harder to manage everything on our own. When you’re a farmer in Tuipang, you spend most of your time worrying about the rain and if the trucks will show up on time to take the goods. We use this company to help move our vegetables to the markets so they stay fresh. It’s a small operation. We don’t have a big staff, just a few of us who know the area well. We meet at the dairy spot to talk about seeds and who is growing what for the next season. It’s a very local thing. We aren't looking to become some giant corporation. We just want to make sure our families can keep farming and that the work pays off. The ground here is good but the work is tough on the back.
