Libra Autocar

Our place is in VPO Nandpur, right near Sahnewal in Ludhiana. We are at house number B-111-333. It’s a family-run sort of thing, started by the late S. Sukhdial Singh. We’ve stayed in the same spot for years. Ludhiana is known for its hard work and we try to live up to that. The workshop is right there and it’s always got something going on. It’s not a polished car dealership with glass windows. It’s a place where there is grease on the hands and real work being done on vehicles. We have the usual tools lying around and the sound of engines is pretty constant. Being in a village post office area means we know almost everyone who walks by. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. People mostly find us by word of mouth or because they’ve been coming to us for years. The building is just a part of the house property really. It’s simple and it works for what we do. We spend our days under the hoods of cars or talking to customers about what needs fixing. It’s practical work. We don't make big promises, we just try to get the machines running right. It’s a quiet life in Nandpur, but we stay busy enough with the autocar work. We like being part of this community and serving the local folks who need their vehicles sorted out.
