Saraswati Enterprise

Out here in Tetulia Village, things move a bit slower than in the big cities. We’re located in the Barharwa Block, not far from the post office and the railway station. You can hear the trains pulling in and out throughout the day, which sort of tells us what time it is without looking at a clock. Saraswati Enterprise is just a local business we’ve been running to help out the folks in the Sahebganj District. It’s a dusty place, especially in the summer, and we spend a good chunk of our time sweeping the front area. People from the village stop by quite often, sometimes just to chat or ask about things. We don't have a big corporate office or anything like that. It’s just a basic building with everything we need to operate. The walk from the station is short, so we get a fair amount of foot traffic. It’s hard work, especially when the power goes out, which happens more than we’d like. But we’ve got our way of doing things and it works for us. We know almost everyone around here by their face, if not their name. It feels good to be a part of the Barharwa community. We aren't looking to grow into some huge company; we’re happy just being here and doing our part for the village people who rely on us for their daily needs.
