You can find us in the Changhua Industrial District, right on Northwest Lake Road. It is part of the bigger Economic and Technological Development District here in Wuhan. The building is on Street Number 4, near Zhushan Lake Avenue. It is a big industrial area, so there are factories and warehouses everywhere you look. Our space is mostly dedicated to electronic technology stuff, which means it is relatively clean compared to some of the heavy machinery shops nearby. We spend a lot of time looking at small components and testing things out at the benches. The air conditioning is important because of the sensitive equipment, so it stays cool inside even when the Wuhan heat is bad outside. Most of us commute from the city center, taking the main roads that lead into the development zone. It is a long day, but we have a good routine down. We eat lunch together in the small cafeteria area we set up in the back. The walls are painted a plain grey, and we have lots of bright lights so we can see what we are doing with the small parts. It is not a place for showing off; it is just where the work happens. We have seen many other businesses come and go in this district over the years, but we have stayed put at this address for quite some time now. It’s just how we operate.
