Om Stationery Work

We are tucked away in the back basement of Shalimar Garden. Our shop number is 4, or S-4A as it’s officially listed. Being in the basement means it stays a bit cooler in the summer, though we don’t get much natural light. We are quite close to S.M. World, so that’s usually how we tell people to find us. The shop is filled with all the usual stationery stuff—pens, notebooks, paper, and all those bits and pieces for school or office work. It’s a small space, so things are piled up pretty high on the shelves. We’ve been here for a good while and have seen many students grow up as they come in for their supplies year after year. It’s a quiet kind of work, mostly just helping people find the right kind of folder or a specific pen. Sometimes the basement gets a bit dusty, but we try to keep the shop tidy. We don’t have any big signs or loud music, just a simple place for people to get what they need. Most of our customers are from the apartments nearby or folks heading to S.M. World. It’s a nice little community and we enjoy being part of it. We open up in the morning and stay until the evening when the gardens get quiet. If you’re looking for a specific notebook, we probably have it somewhere in the back. Just ask when you come down the stairs into the basement.
