Gola Electronics

Gola Electronics is located at A16/7 in Site 4 of the UPSIDC Industrial Area. It’s a place where things are actually made and fixed, so it’s not very pretty to look at. There are factories and warehouses all around us, and the roads are usually full of big trucks. Our unit is a bit smaller than some of the others, but we pack a lot into it. We have workbenches lined with tools and testing equipment for all the electronic stuff we handle. The air smells a bit like solder and old grease sometimes, but that’s just how an industrial area is. We don’t have a fancy lobby or any plants in the office. It’s just us in our work shirts getting through the daily list of repairs and assemblies. We take our lunch breaks together at a big wooden table in the back. Most of the guys have been working here since the unit opened, so we have a good rhythm going. We don't spend money on fancy marketing or anything like that. People find us because they know we’ve been here for a long time and we know our way around a circuit board. It gets loud when the machinery in the next unit starts up, but you get used to it after a week. We just keep our heads down and do the work until it’s time to go home. It’s a simple life but we like it.
