Bss Electronics Co. is located in the Rajinder Nagar Industrial Area. Our spot is right opposite the Sahibabad Police Station, which makes it very easy for people to find us. This part of Sahibabad is very much an industrial zone, so there are a lot of factories and warehouses around us. You can usually hear the sound of heavy machinery or the trucks idling on the main road. The shop floor is where we spend most of our time, and it’s usually covered in parts and half-finished work. We don’t have a reception area or anything formal like that. If you walk in, you’ll probably see us working at the main table or checking a delivery that just arrived. The dust from the industrial area gets in everywhere, so we are always cleaning off the equipment. It’s a tough environment but it suits the kind of electronics work we do. We have been across from the police station for several years now, and the routine hasn’t changed much. We start early, have our tea, and then it’s just one task after another until the evening. We don’t have a lot of time for talk, as there is always a deadline or a shipment that needs to be ready. It’s a busy, practical life here in Rajinder Nagar, and we just keep our heads down and work.
