Ambica Steels Ltd.

Our place is over at 51/2 Site 4 Industrial Area. It is a real busy part of town with those big trucks moving in and out of the narrow lanes all day long. If you come by Ambica Steels Ltd., you will see piles of steel stacked up almost everywhere you look. It isn't the cleanest place to spend a day because of all the metal dust and the grease from the machines, but we like it well enough. The heat gets pretty bad in the summer months, especially under this tin roof we have, so we keep the big fans going as much as we can. We spend most of the morning just checking the orders and making sure the right sizes of steel are being loaded onto the trucks. There is always someone yelling out to move a crane or park a vehicle somewhere else so someone can get through. It is a lot of manual work and we all have rough hands from moving things around all day. We have been at this site for a long time now, and we know most of the other people running shops around here. We usually just eat our lunch together in the small office, just simple food we brought from home in tins. It is a plain business without any fancy signs or slogans on the walls. We just focus on getting the steel out to where it needs to be.
