Yuva Kalyan Foundation

You can find the Yuva Kalyan Foundation over on Saharsa Road. We are based out of Ratan Kumar Raman’s place in Ward No. 21. It is not a huge office building, just a local spot where we get our work done. Most of us grew up around here so we know the Saharsa Road area pretty well. It’s a busy part of town but we like it that way because it keeps us connected to everyone. We decided to get this started because we saw things that needed attention right in our own backyard. Sometimes we sit around and talk about how much things have changed in Ward No. 21 lately. We keep our doors open for anyone who wants to drop in and see what we are up to. It is mostly just a few of us working hard. We don't have fancy titles or a big board of directors. It is more like a family operation. Ratan lets us use the space and we make the most of it. If you are driving down the main road, just look for the signs for Ward 21. We are right in the thick of it. It’s not always easy running a foundation from a small space but we make it work because the work matters to us. We try to be helpful and stay grounded. We don't mind the noise from the road at all.
