Dj Night Show

Dj Night Show is basically me and a few guys working out of Tiwari Tola. We’re right near that Central Bank of India in the Vki Extension part of Village Aakera. Most days it’s just us checking cables and making sure the speakers didn't get rattled too much from the last trip. The shop isn't much to look at, just a place to store the lights and the sound systems when we aren't out. We spend a lot of time winding up thick black wires and making sure the amplifiers are clean. It gets pretty dusty here in Aakera, so we are always wiping things down. When people come by to talk about their events, we usually just sit on the plastic chairs outside. You can see the bank from our front door, which helps people find us because the roads back here can be a bit confusing if you aren't from around this part of Tiwari Tola. Sometimes the power goes out and we just wait it out. It’s a simple setup. We’ve got the mixers on the shelves and the heavy bass bins stacked in the corner. We don't have a big fancy office with air conditioning or anything like that. It is just a workspace where we get the gear ready. There’s usually some tea being passed around and we talk about which roads are blocked or how the weather is looking for the weekend. We just keep doing what we do here in the village.
