We have been here at Gangapur Chauraha for quite a while now. If you know the Narkulganj area, you probably know the Balaji Temple right across from us. It gets pretty busy on the road outside, especially in the mornings when everyone is rushing to get their day started. My name is Rajesh and this is just a small place where we handle our daily work. It is not a big fancy office with glass walls or anything like that. We just have our desks, some old chairs, and a lot of paperwork that seems to pile up no matter how much we try to clear it. Most days it is just me and a couple of helpers trying to keep things moving. We see a lot of people walking by to the temple, and sometimes they stop in just to say hello or ask for directions. Life moves at a certain pace in this part of town. We open up early, sweep the front, and get the ledger books ready. It can get dusty being so close to the main crossing, but that is just part of being in Narkulganj. We don't have a big marketing team or a website that looks like a movie. It’s just us doing what we know how to do. Sometimes the tea man comes by and we take a ten-minute break, then it’s back to the phones and the customers. It is plain and simple work here.
