You can find us at Savitri Sadan, located at the Sarhai Moar in Saharsa, Bihar. Even though we are a joint venture between Tata Power and Power Grid, our local office feels very much like a part of the Saharsa community. We have been operating from this spot for quite some time now. Our daily routine involves managing the transmission lines that run through this part of the state. It is a job that keeps us on our toes, especially when the weather gets bad. Bihar is known for its tough monsoons, and we have to be ready to handle any issues that come up with the power lines. The office itself is modest and functional. We don't have any expensive furniture or polished lobbies. It is just a place where we get our work done and coordinate with the field teams. Most of us are from around here, so we know the local area like the back of our hands. We don't go in for big mission statements or promotional language. That just isn't our style. We would rather spend our time making sure the transmission is steady and reliable. It is a practical, no-nonsense kind of workplace. We see the same familiar faces at the market near Sarhai Moar every day, and that makes it feel like home.
