If you ever find yourself in Village Mathahi, you will probably pass right by us. We are located near the Aadarsh Sankul Middle School, which means we hear the kids playing and the school bell ringing all through the day. It’s a small village in the Madhepura district and everyone knows everyone else’s business. Being at the post Mathahi location in the Madhepura Taluka puts us right in the middle of things here. Our building isn't anything special, just a regular spot where we keep our goods and talk to the farmers and local people. Sometimes the roads around here get a bit rough when the monsoon hits, making it hard for the carts and trucks to get through the mud. We mostly spend our time waiting for the next delivery or chatting with neighbors who stop by for news. It’s a slow pace of life in this part of Bihar, and we don’t mind it one bit. We handle a bit of everything as traders. The shop is usually dusty and there’s always something that needs fixing, but that’s just how it goes in a rural area. We’ve been here a long time, and our families have grown up in this village. It’s a simple life of buying and selling and keeping the books straight. We don't have a website or anything like that, just our presence here in the village near the school.
