Laxmi Bhandar

Our shop, Laxmi Bhandar, is located in Word No 11 of Simri Bakhtiarpur. We’re right on Mal Godown Road, which stays pretty busy since the Government Hospital is just nearby. Being in the village of Simri Bakhtiarpur means we know almost everyone who walks through the door. The road is often dusty, and there’s always the sound of rickshaws and people heading toward the hospital. Our shop is a simple place, filled with all the basic things people might need in a hurry. We don't have a big staff, usually just a family member or two helping out behind the counter. The shelves are packed with everything from soap to snacks, and we try to keep things organized even when it gets crowded. Because of the hospital, we see people at all hours, often looking tired or in a rush. We don't have a website or any fancy brochures. We just open early and stay open until late in the evening. The Tehsil area is growing, but it still feels like a small town where word of mouth is the only way people find out about you. We spend a lot of time just chatting with customers and hearing the local news. It’s a humble business on a busy road, and we just try to keep the shelves stocked for the people around here. It’s hard work but it's our life.
