J.N. Painting

Our workshop is located on D.B. Road, and we are quite close to the Khadi Bhandar. It’s a good spot because the street is always active. When you walk into J.N. Painting, the first thing you notice is probably the smell of paint and thinners. It’s a strong scent that sticks to your clothes, but we don't notice it much anymore. We have cans of paint stacked up against the walls and brushes soaking in jars all over the place. The floor is covered in drops of different colors from years of projects. We aren't the type of place that keeps everything perfectly tidy. We are more concerned with the actual painting work. Our hands are usually stained with whatever color we were using that morning. We spend a lot of time mixing shades and getting the consistency just right. It’s physical work, and by the end of the day, we are usually pretty tired. We take pride in just getting the job done without making a big deal out of it. People in the neighborhood know us from seeing us work on D.B. Road. We’ve been here long enough that the local shopkeepers are all friends. We don't have any flashy advertisements. Most people just find us because they saw our sign near the Khadi Bhandar or heard about us from someone else. It’s just a straightforward painting business run by regular people. We don't overcomplicate things; we just paint what needs painting.
