We are located in Alamnagar, Madhepura, right on the Main Road. If you find the Saharsa Bus Stand, you are almost at our door. Being near the bus stand means it is always loud and there is a lot of dust from the road. We have been here for quite a while now. We deal with various general items and supplies that people need every day. The shop isn't very large, so we have to stack things high up on the walls to fit it all. It’s a busy spot because of all the travelers and locals passing through the area. We usually open up early before the first buses start moving in the morning. My younger brother and I run the place together. We don't have a computer system or anything; we just use a ledger and a pen to keep track. It works fine for us. Sometimes it gets hectic when several people want things at once and the bus is about to leave. We don't have a fancy sign, just the name painted above the door. Most people know us by name anyway. We don't try to sell things people don't need. They come in, ask for what they want, and we find it for them in the stacks. The rain can be a problem sometimes, making the main road a bit muddy, but business goes on. It’s just a simple life here, keeping the shop running.
