Anand Orthopaedic & Trauma Centre

If you find yourself on VIP Road over in Purab Bazar, you will see our building. It’s a busy spot with lots of people coming and going for their shopping. Anand Orthopaedic & Trauma Centre has been part of this street for a while now. We deal with a lot of broken bones and people who have had accidents on the road. The waiting room is usually full of folks from the nearby villages and the town itself. It gets a bit noisy outside with all the honking, but inside we just try to get through the day’s list of patients as best as we can. We have the usual equipment you would expect for a trauma center. The staff here mostly lives nearby, so we all know the shortcuts around Purab Bazar when the main road gets blocked. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to switch over to the backup, which is just how things go around here. People come in with all sorts of injuries, some minor and some pretty bad. We don't spend much time on decorations or fancy signs. The focus is just on the work. You might see us grabbing a quick snack from the vendors on the street when there is a short break in the schedule. It's a practical place, nothing too polished, just a clinic doing its thing on a busy road. We see kids with sports injuries and older folks who took a fall. Every day is a bit different for us here.
