Al-Madad Education And Welfare Foundation is based out of Simri Bakhtiyarpur. We work from Gulam Ashraf’s place in the Alipanch village area. It is a rural setting, which suits us just fine because we like to be close to the people we are actually working for. The roads around here can be a bit rough during the rains, but we manage to keep things running. Our office is basically just a room with some basic furniture and a lot of documents stacked up. We do not have a fancy website or a big marketing team. Most of what we do spreads by word of mouth in the village and the surrounding Tola. Gulam Ashraf handles a lot of the coordination from here. It is a quiet place most of the time, except when there is a big project going on. We sit together, have some chai, and figure out how to handle the education and welfare tasks on our plate. It is not a corporate job for us; it is more of a community responsibility. We have lived in Simri Bakhtiyarpur for a long time, so we know the challenges people face around here. The Al-Madad Education And Welfare Foundation is our way of trying to help out right where we live. We don't make big promises or use fancy words. We just look at what needs to be done today and try to do it as best as we can.
