Wood World

Wood World is located at 11/96 in Pacca Bagh. It’s a straightforward name for a straightforward business. We work with wood. Most of our days are spent surrounded by planks, sawdust, and the sound of saws running. It’s a noisy place, and you’ll definitely leave with dust on your clothes if you stay for more than a few minutes. We deal with all sorts of timber and furniture pieces. We don’t go for those overly polished, factory-made designs. We like stuff that feels solid and heavy. If you buy something from us, you know it’s going to last a long time because we don’t use cheap materials. The workshop is a bit cluttered, but we know where everything is. My father taught me a lot of what I know about wood, and I’m just carrying that on. It’s hard work on the back and the hands, but there’s something satisfying about taking a raw piece of lumber and turning it into something useful. We don't have a sales team or anything like that. If you come by, you'll probably talk to one of us who was just working on a table or a door. We tell it like it is. If a certain wood isn't right for what you want, we'll say so. We’ve been in Pacca Bagh for a while and the neighbors know the sound of our shop. It’s just what we do, and we’re okay with that.
