The Mark Impex

Our office is over in Sarai Gariba Purani Mandi, tucked away at 12/1857/1. It’s a busy area with a lot of history and noise, which keeps things interesting. We’ve been operating from this spot for a while, dealing with all the daily ins and outs of the trade. The building itself is older, and the streets around here can get pretty cramped with carts and people moving goods back and forth. Inside, it’s mostly desks, paperwork, and samples piled up in the corners. We don't spend much time worrying about how the place looks to outsiders because we're usually too busy keeping track of orders and shipments. It’s a hands-on kind of job. One of us is usually on the phone while someone else is checking the inventory or talking to a driver outside on the street. The Mandi has its own rhythm, and we’ve learned to work with it over the years. Sometimes the power goes out or the rain makes the street a total mess, but we just keep going anyway. It’s not the kind of place you’d find in a glossy magazine, but it works for us. We know our neighbors, and they know us. Most of our day is spent making sure things get from point A to point B without getting stuck. It’s plain work, nothing fancy about it. We just show up, do the tasks on the list, and deal with whatever problems pop up. That’s how life is here in the market.
